Over the last 10 years my life has changed quite a bit. For a time I lived in studio apartments and rented rooms while returning to school. After completing my undergrad studies I went back to work full-time and began a migration from my minimalist living traditions into a more conventional environment. I am fortunate to rent a what I think is a remarkably cool place downtown, close to campus (where I still attend), and close to my place of work. It's huge in comparison to any place I've lived in quite sometime. The place is so large (2000 sq.ft.) that living here alone seems pretty extravagant. As a result, I usually have a roommate(s). The place is half of an older Victorian duplex. It's two stories with the entry way, living room, dining room, and kitchen with a pantry and closet) downstairs. The second story consist of 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a linen closet. The bedrooms range in size from about 130 sq.ft. to 170 sq.ft. The bath is a decent size with a cool claw-foot tub/shower set up. The only real downside to this setup (in my opinion) is the single bath. For two people it's no problem, but with three people a little scheduling goes a long way.
