The woodcut shown above was done by my son Gregg Deal and presented to me as a Christmas gift a few years ago. It is one of my favorite pieces of art for several reasons, one of which it is such a great piece of work. Gregg is quite an accomplished artist and operates his own graphic design studio, GSON Studios, out of the Washington, DC area. In addition to his design work he is also an accomplished painter. Gregg and his wife Megan live in northern Virginia, just outside DC. and had there first child - Sage in June of 2006. Yes, that makes me a grandpa twice!
